In February 2014 the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP) sponsored a national Video Teleconference for all their chapters, with continuing education credits for all who attended.    Our EPC of the Fun Coast purchased the rights to the broadcast and workbook from the Jacksonville SFSP so the information to be presented is quite fresh and timely.   The guest speakers are:

Guest Speakers
John A. Oliver, JD, CLU, ChFC, AEP
Steve Parrish, JD, CLU, ChFC
Andrew Rinn, JD, CFP, CLU, ChFC
Riania C. Sarkis, JD, CLU

This two-hour video teleconference addresses business succession under several different scenarios.

Attendees will learn how to:
  • Craft a business exit strategy
  • Structure buy-out plans to meet the needs of all interested parties
  • Plan for same-sex unions, children from multiple marriages, and other unique circumstances.
  • Use life insurance as a funding tool in business exit plans

Program Workbook: Those who reserve will be sent a link to the program workbook.  To save money, please download the link to your notebook and bring that, or print your own copy.   Either way, it's part of the program. For those who attend without their own copy, workbooks will be available at the meeting for an EXTRA CHARGE OF $10 each - (60 pages).

Continuing Education:        CE Credits will NOT be granted by our council for this event, BUT, if your profession allows self administration of CE Credits, we can provide proof of attendance, as well as the program workbook you can use if you can document your own participation to earn credits.    (The SFSP was able to grant CE credits in all states for they filed the program for a specific time at many locations and monitored participation.  We can't piggyback on that.)

Cost:    $20.00 at the door - includes the Hilton's delicious buffet breakfast..  Please note that persons making reservations and not canceling by noon, Tuesday, April 22nd, will be invoiced by the EPCFC for the program cost.  Guests are always Welcome! You need not be a Member.
