The Importance of Donor Centered Planned Giving. A Discussion for Attorneys, Financial Planners and Philanthropic Proffesionals.

This session is about the charitable gift planning team, about creating Win – Win – Win charitable gift plans for donors/clients -- win for the charity, win for the donor & loved ones, win for allied planning professionals.  It is predicated on an intentional approach to inviting gift conversations.  We believe that knowing how the donor-centered fundraising professional intentionally builds gift-planning relationships will have great value to allied planning professionals.  So we will start be describing the decisions any competent fundraiser will invite of a new donor, then examine the value of the allied professional. We will discuss several specific planned gift scenarios where all of the donor's professionals can participate and add value to the donor's philanthropic goals.   We will wrap up by addressing the roles of allied professionals in complementing the planning process in a way that benefits all parties, the donor/client, the recipient charity, and the allied professional.
