James “Jay” Gardner, Jr., Flagler County Property Appraiser, has been a resident of the County since 1978. Gardner is married to Lisa and has two children, James and Adam. He is also a private pilot, enjoys boating, and being outdoors. His involvement within our community has included the Flagler County Education Foundation Board, Chamber of Commerce Board and the Flagler County Rotary Club where he chaired the Boys’ Mentor Program. In addition, he has been a Police Athletic League Wrestling Coach and is a graduate of the Flagler Leadership I. Gardner graduated with an Associate of Science Degree from Daytona Beach Community College, attended the University of Florida and subsequently received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida.
