Speaker's Bio:

Scott Thomas is the founder of Stewardship Matters, Inc.; an advisory firm in Maitland Florida., Scott is a Chartered Financial Consultant ChFC and Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy CAP both through The American College.  Scott started his career as fee advisor in 1986. His motto is “to become more so I can be more for the others in my life.” With a love of nature and people, he pours tremendous energy in each client meeting. Being passionate about delivering his message, Scott loves to speak to groups of successful business people, nonprofits, and mission minded individuals.  Scott enjoys sharing how personal values realized in a plan and its’ implementation can energize and motivate others to greater joy.  One of the subjects which fill Scott with great passion is one of stewardship and mission alignment.

Scott was a collaborative author for “Goal the Financial Physicians Ultimate Survival Guide for the Professional Athlete”. His contributions were in the area of Social Capital for professional athlete. He wrote a book in 2008 “Financial Secrets for the Man of Means”.  He has been a public speaker for many association, civic groups and corporations.  He is currently certified for two hours of CE for CFRE groups.  Stewardship Estate Planning has been big success in groups of faith over the past few years.

Scott is a proud and devoted father of three wonderful children and has been married to Suzanne for 24 years. He possesses a B.S. Degree from The University of Central Florida and is an active member in both his Toastmaster club his church and the YMCA.
