DESCRIPTION:\nUnderstanding the Hospice Care in Our Community\n \nAs professionals involved in Estate Planning, understanding what Hospice is, the services offered and what insurance / Medicare / Medicaid covers (and doesn’t cover) is critical.  Please join us as we present a panel with representatives from our local Non Profit Hospice Care Providers.\n \nDonna Higbee, Vice President of the Estate Planning Council of the Fun Coast, will be our moderator.  We will have speakers from:\n ------\n\nHospice Panel:\n \nAdventHealth Hospice Care\n \nRema Cole, AdventHealth East Florida Hospice Care Director\n \nNancy Nelson, AdventHealth Development Officer\n \nHalifax Health – Hospice\n \nBen Eby, Director of Hospice\n \nBridget Highet, Hospice and Palliative Medicine Physician\n ------\n\n• We will start with a brief summary of what Hospice is:\n \n• When would a client qualify for Hospice\n \n• What basic services are provided by all Hospice\n \nHow the referral systems work with Hospice – prior to and after enrolled in Hospice\n \nWe will then have each panelist give a brief summary of the services/ programs they offer above and beyond the standard level of care. How they work with families/ patients.\n \nThis is a forum for both professionals and the general public. If time permits there will also be a question & answer session.\n \nCost: $ 25 if you RSVP by Friday, November 15th ----- $30 after November 15th.\n \nMembers are free, but must RSVP.
