DESCRIPTION:\n \n \nThe Estate Planning Council of the Fun Coast is honored to have Judge James R. Clayton as our guest speaker at our September meeting. Judge Clayton will discuss the recent changes to Guardianship Law and share procedural updates for both Probate and Guaurdianship cases. \n \nJames R. Clayton was elected in 2002. Before becoming a judge, he was a part-time assistant state attorney and was in private practice for more than 20 years. He earned both his undergraduate and juris doctor degrees from Stetson University. He currently hears probate and guardianship cases at the Volusia County Courthouse in DeLand.\n \nThe meeting will be held in the 500 Room at One Daytona. Please arrive by 8:00am. The presentation will begin at 8:15am. \n \nThe event is free to members and $25 for non-members.  The public is always welcome at our events.
