Olson\n \nSpecial Projects Coordinator/ Sr. Veteran Service Officer / Volusia County Veteran Services\n \nScott was born and raised in Southern California. In 2005 Scott Joined the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman. While serving, Scott completed 4 combat tours to Iraq and other areas in the Southwest Asia theater. After deploying, Scott served as an Instructor at the Non-Commissioned Officers Academy in 29 Palms, California. Scott got out of the Marine Corps in 2014 and started working for Volusia County Veteran Services in 2018 as a Veteran Service Officer. Scott now serves as the Special Projects Coordinator. Scott is married to Shanna Olson. They have four children and currently reside in Deland, FL.\n \nScott will be speaking about the services offered to veterans and their eligable dependents including surviving spouses. He will share the best ways to access the resources available. There will be a presentation and a Question and Answer session following.\n \nThe public is always welcome to attend our events. The fee for a non-member is $25.
